What is form analytics?
Form analytics measures how visitors interact with a website form: whether fields are reached, changed or invalid, and whether the intended outcome is recorded. Conviz places that progression alongside the pages and controls used during a visit.
How do I find a signup bottleneck?
- Choose a confirmed signup outcome or clearly define what the selected submit control measures.
- Check whether visitors reach the form before investigating individual fields.
- Review field progression and validation signals within the same date range.
- Inspect the actual field and its instructions. Separate a repeated obstacle from ordinary corrections.
- Test one change and compare confirmed completions with comparable traffic.
What does field drop-off mean?
If many visitors reach a field and fewer continue, that field is worth inspecting. It does not prove the field caused abandonment. Some visitors may return later, use a different device, or leave for unrelated reasons.
A changed field is not a completed form. A click on submit is not necessarily a successful account creation. Connect the interpretation to a confirmation event where the application can expose one.
Which forms can be tracked?
Install tracking on the site containing the form and verify its behavior in your browser. Forms in another domain’s iframe and third-party authentication or payment surfaces may not be visible to the tracker. Do not promise coverage before checking the actual implementation.
Can I check a form before installing analytics?
The free Form Friction Checker reviews public form structure, including field count, labels and submit actions. It cannot tell you where real visitors abandoned the form. Use it for structural checks, then validate priorities with installed tracking.
Form analytics software versus Google Forms reports
Conviz is for behavior on websites where you can install its tracker. It is not a Google Forms response-analysis tool. If your question is about survey answers rather than website progression, that is a different task.
Investigate before redesigning
Use the clicks and forms guide to turn a repeated signal into a specific test. Measure the outcome afterward.
From an early customer
“Very easy. No confusing parts.”
Feedback about using Conviz. This is not evidence of an increase in conversions. Read the customer note.
What is collected?
Conviz measures page paths, safe interaction metadata, field types, device information, and active time. The tracker is designed not to record typed form values, passwords, or payment details. Raw interaction and session records are retained for up to 60 days. Configure masking and exclusions for private regions. Read the full privacy policy.

Does Conviz record what people type?
The tracker is designed not to record typed form values. It measures safe field types and interaction metadata.
Is a submit click a successful signup?
Not necessarily. Use an unambiguous success callback or confirmation page when available, and label click goals accurately.
